The iGEM™ is a Portable eV-CZT™ Spectrometer "Engine" designed for handheld instruments for Homeland Security and Laboratory Research. The iGEM™ includes an eV-CZT™ detector crystal, Low Power ASIC (Preamp/Shaper), 12bit A/D (MCA) and a Microprocessor.

Cell Phone Isotope ID with CZT - RadNet

The Dept. of Homeland Security awarded more funding to Lawrence Livermore National Lab (LLNL).

Functional cell phone, GPS with a radiation detector that can identify isotopes. Therefore drastically reducing the false positives and providing locational information. RadNet is the future of all Personal Radiation Detectors.
